Refresh your fitness routine and stay motivated with fitness classes by J Hoppmann Training, LLC, at The Dance Studio of Clarinda! Classes will meet Monday-Thursday, in two blocks: 8:15-9:00 AM classes and 9:15-10:00 AM classes. Class selections include: 8:15-9:00 AM Group Fitness Classes * Mondays: Dumbbell Strength (please provide own equipment) * Tuesdays: Yoga Flow (please provide mat) * Wednesdays: Dumbbell Strength (please provide own equipment) * Thursdays: Barre Fitness (please provide mat) 9:15-10:00 AM Group Fitness Classes * Mondays: Chair Band Strength (please provide own equipment) * Tuesdays: Chair Yoga * Wednesdays: Chair Band Strength (please provide own equipment) * Thursdays: Chair Yoga 10:10-10:50 AM Group Fitness Classes * Tuesdays: Zumba Gold® **6:15-7:00 PM Summer Class * Thursdays: Yoga in the Park @ Kiwanis Park 8:00-8:45 AM Saturday Morning Yoga Flow * Select Saturdays (see Facebook Page for schedule) Drop-In Rate for All Class - $5/class Monthly Rate for Unlimited Classes per Month - $65/month (due at the beginning of the month, non-refundable). All classes will take place at The Dance Studio of Clarinda (beside the NAPA store on HWY 2 Bypass). Please note there is no childcare available at the studio. Contact me with questions! Class Descriptions:
All 8:15 AM Group Fitness Classes are designed for healthy adults who can safely perform moderate/occasionally difficult intensity of exercise from standing/seated/kneeling/lying positions: * Dumbbell Strength (M/W) - Basic, effective, and total body strength training using dumbbells. Please provide your own dumbbells, such as 5's/8's/10's. There is space at the studio to store your labelled equipment. * Barre Fitness (Th) - Focus on core and lean strength with this ballet barre-inspired, yoga-/Pilates-informed fusion class! Please bring a yoga/exercise mat. Low-impact for joints and no dance experience needed. * Yoga Flow (T) - Mat-based flowing fitness yoga class, incorporating a variety of yoga poses and breathing exercises. Please bring a yoga mat. * NEW! 10:10-10:50 AM Zumba Gold® (T) - A low-impact cardio dance workout for all coordination levels! No prior dance experience needed. A FUN, follow-along fitness class! Please wear well-fitted tennis shoes. All 9:15 AM Chair Group Fitness Classes will exercise at a light to moderate intensity, with standing and seated in the chair positions. * Chair Band Strength (M/W) - Basic, effective, and total body strength training using resistance bands and chairs. Please provide your own set of resistance bands (flat bands, no handles, such as light resistance and medium resistance). There is space at the studio to store your labelled equipment. * Chair Yoga (T/Th) - A chair yoga class perfect for beginnings or participants with joint limitations. A variety of seated and standing yoga poses and breathing exercises will be presented with a variety of modifications to craft the class that's right for you. |

I teach clients safety and enjoyment in exercise through one-on-one personal training sessions and give them accountability towards their goals as well as expertise in the latest fitness research to attain safe, effective fitness.
